faulty climate controlstreet noise
The room felt small. I noticed the climate control did not function properly. It was either too hot or too cold, nothing in between. Made it difficult to sleep well. the noise from the street was very noticeable, even with the windows closed. It disrupted my rest during the night.

Excellent Stay near Royal Mile

i've stayed at a few Motel One locations, and this one stands out as the best. I arrived early to drop off my bag, and the front desk immediately tried to find a room for me, even before i asked (that was really nice). They noticed i had two rooms booked and offered to place them close to each other. The rooms were clean and stocked with essential travel items.
i found that my upstairs neighbours were quite audible, their movements amplified by the floorboards. I could also clearly hear sounds from the corridor (which was a bit annoying). It is a little expensive for the quality.
